I had a great first weekend at my Open Studio and am looking forward to the second weekend coming up. Saturday and Sunday, April 20 and 21, I will be here from 11am to 5pm. I am pleased to announce that "N", my fused glass wall sculpture, was juried into "Kaleidoscope", an exhibition taking place at Arc Gallery in San Francisco. The address is 1246 Folsom St. Gallery owner Ashley Voss was the juror. The exhibition is on from May 13 to June 10. I will be at the reception which will occur on Saturday, May 13, from 7 to 9 pm. Please join my for my open studio taking place over the next two weekends. I'll be showing works in fused glass, paintings and digital art. I will be showing with 188 other artists in Alameda and Contra Costa counties as Part of the East Bay Open Studios. Please see the flyer below for details about dates, hours and location. In January, my painting "Ophelia"was selected by the Sebastopol Center for the Arts to be included in their "Color of Water" exhibition, juried by gallery owner Lori Austin. And I was very pleased and surprised to win First Prize! Below is a video of the exhibition and a picture of my self standing beside my painting.
In November and December 2022, I curated Warm Glass, an exhibition of works in fused glass at Manna Gallery, Oakland, California. My work was featured along with outstanding work by bay area fused glass artists Sylvia Chesson, Mark Goudy, Bruce Pizzichillo and Mark Schatz. A great finish for the year.
